Maggie Rogers just keeps getting better and better. Following up her stunning video for the Pharrell-approved single “Alaska,” the singer returns with new tune “Dog Years.”

Here, Rogers coos about perseverance and love over a shimmery folk-pop melody. “Come what may/ I’ll still stay/ Inside your mind/ For all of time,” she sings in the number’s uplifting chorus, which manages to be catchy, whimsical and endlessly unique. Bottom line – you need this song in your life.

Rogers also took to Twitter to explain the track in her own words.”Dog Years is about a day I skipped class to stay in bed and make frozen pizza with a boy I loved,” she said in the series. “Dog Years is about change, about loving and leaving and still loving, about trusting yourself.”
