It’s out.

Alicia Keys has released her sixth studio album Here. The LP boasts 16 tracks, including previously released numbers like  “Holy War,”  the A$AP Rocky-assisted “Blended Family” and “The Gospel,” the last of which has a twenty-minute short film to go along with it. The singer also hosted a free concert in Times Square last month, which included appearances by Jay ZQ-Tip, Questlove and Nas.

In an August interview with Ebony magazine, Keys noted that this project in particular is very important to her. “I think I’ve created something timeless, music that could come out today or 30 years from now,” she said. “It will remain powerful.”

It’s true. Even from the first spin, this album feels like something Alicia Keys was destined to make. It’s a wild, soulful ode to New York City. And I’m loving every second of it.
