Dixie Chick Natalie Maines Has Some Choice Words For The CMAs Over Beyoncé Drama
Beyoncé‘s live “Daddy Lessons” collaboration with the Dixie Chicks at the CMAs on Wednesday was the highlight of the show. The next day, the CMAs cabal stupidly erased all evidence that the moment even happened. They eventually denied/clarified the situation, which couldn’t have been handled more sloppily, but at least we can count on Natalie Maines to make light of it all.
After a fan tweeted that the CMAs “used” the group, Maines replied, “I used them to fulfill my dream of singing with Bey. (On their dime;).” Then the Chicks’ main Twitter account also chimed in. Check out the posts below.
Hey everybody! The CMA's just called and asked us to co-host next year's show with Beyoncé.Unfortunately I've got a thing that night so, no.
