Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber And Rihanna Are Nominated For The 2016 AMAs Artist Of The Year Award

The preliminary votes have officially been cast by fans for the 2016 AMAs Artist of the Year award, and we’re down to the final five. Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Rihanna join fellow nominees Ariana Grande and Carrie Underwood to battle it out for the prize this coming Sunday.

This could be a huge night for Rihanna, who already has seven nominations. Bieber is close behind with five while Gomez is up for two this season. Not to mention, Underwood nabbed three nominations and Grande received one for her Nicki Minaj-assisted hit “Side To Side.” 

Ari and Minaj are also slated to perform their collaboration during the show. Other performers included on the roster are The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes  John Legend, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Fifth Harmony, Green Day, Twenty One PilotsSting and more.

Fans can vote for the Artist of the Year category up until Thursday (November 17) at 8:59pm PT at AMAvote.com. Tune in to the show on November 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC to see who wins.
