Iggy Azalea Wins GQ Australia’s Woman Of The Year Award: 5 Sexy Pics
Iggy Azalea wowed the red carpet at GQ Australia’s Men Of The Year Awards in Sydney, Australia last night (November 16) by wearing a pantsuit and little else, but that’s positively tame in comparison to what happened inside the event. The rapper was named Woman Of The Year and spoke about a certain female body part in her acceptance speech. “I didn’t realize everyone was going to have such hilarious speeches and I didn’t prepare anything this week,” she began. “I’ve won a lot of awards over the last few years, but this one means the absolute most to me because I can finally say I have an award winning vagina. Thank you.”
The 26-year-old, who also covers the latest issue of GQ Australia, explains her comments in the accompanying interview. “I’m excited [about my award]. I like to call it ‘Vagina of the Year’ though,” Iggy quips. “I don’t know why it cracks me up, I just think it’s funny to reduce myself down to a vagina sometimes. ‘Vagina of the Year’ is a big achievement, number one Australian pussy. People won’t get the joke, but it’s funny because [in the media] women are reduced to vaginas. Some days I’m a vagina, others I’m a human.”
Love her or hate her, Iggy is still causing a ruckus (and getting people to click on websites) two years after being dismissed as a fad. When you factor in her cushy job on X Factor Australia and new relationship, it’s fair to say that she had the last laugh. Time will tell, however, if she can get her music career back on track.
