After five years of hosting the Grammys, LL Cool J is stepping aside, and James Corden will act as master of ceremonies for the 59th annual award show. Stateside, British Late Late Show host Corden has steadily built up respectable cred in the music industry over the past two years, thanks to his must-see Carpool Karaoke segment. Guests on it have included everyone from Adele to Michelle Obama to Britney Spears. (Coming up: Bruno Mars and Madonna.)

In his home country, Corden is known for, among many other things, hosting the Brit Award four times, between 2011 and 2014.

“I am truly honored to be hosting the GRAMMYs next year,” said Corden via a press release. “It’s the biggest, most prestigious award show in music and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night.”

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Nominees will be announced on Tuesday, December 6.
