Are they or aren’t they done for good? Apparently, it’s a no.

Coldplay hinted two years ago that their most recent album, 2015’s A Head Full Of Dreams, might be their last. But following their Super Bowl performance this past February, frontman Chris Martin told Zane Lowe, “I don’t think we’d split up as a band, so hopefully we’ll try to work out something to do at some point.”

That something, as it turns out, is a new EP called Kaleidoscope, which will apparently be out some time in 2017.

Pop Report Card: We grade Coldplay’s 7 albums

“Hello everyone, we’re working on some new songs for next year,” Martin tweeted yesterday via Coldplay’s official account. “It’s called the Kaleidoscope ep. We hope you’re well, love cm #KaleidoscopeEP”
