John Legend goes all the way up with Chance the Rapper on new song "Penthouse Floor."

Chance the Rapper honored two of his peers while performing at BBC Live Lounge.

His first order of business: covering Drake‘s “Feel No Ways.” By singing extra softly, and omitting the original’s percussive beat, Chance the Rapper —while backed by Donnie Trumpet and select members of the Social Experiment — turned this VIEWS ballad into a true slow jam. Their rendition sounded more heartfelt than Drake’s petty lyrics (“There’s more to life than sleeping in / and getting high with you”) would suggest, despite how Chance forgot some of the words. “You don’t feel no way, on purpose/ I’m messing up all of Drake’s words on purpose,” the Chicago rapper sang.

Chance the Rapper also performed Coloring Book‘s triumphant opener “All We Got.” In light of recent news, and as his self-proclaimed best prodigy, Chance used this performance as an opportunity to pray for featured artist Kanye West. “I want to extend a very special prayer to my big brother, Kanye West,” he said. “I know there’s a lot of weird folks out there but you already know that I’m a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and this love from all the way in Britain. We might come home early to see this man.”
