David Guetta Interview
We talked to David Guetta about his new LP 'Listen' and hit single "Hey Mama." Read on.

While most of us were busy digesting turkey and pumpkin pie, a couple of artists rolled out new singles on Friday. The most notable was an all-star collaboration between EDM heavyweights David Guetta and Robin Schulz, featuring LA-based buzz act Cheat Codes. This could have been a case of too many cooks, but “Shed A Light” turns out to a gloriously upbeat dance anthem with driving beats and delicate disco strings. How did it come about? Well, the superstar DJs have been on tour together and decided it was about time they hit the studio.

“Robin’s tracks are very musical and emotional,” David says of the song. “So to me working with Robin was an obvious choice. It felt like the right match.” The German hitmaker felt the same way. “I’m very excited about the upcoming collaboration with my friend David Guetta. I think ‘Shed A Light’ is a fantastic combination, which is characterized by both styles. As for Cheat Codes? “Getting to work with two legends has been just a remarkable experience for us,” they raved. “This song is about that classic situation where you’re falling for someone, but you’re unsure if they feel the same.” Listen to the future hit below.
