MGK & Camila Cabello's “Bad Things”
Machine Gun Kelly teams up with Camila Cabello on new single "Bad Things."

Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello have a hit on their hands with “Bad Things.” The catchy track, which samples Fastball’s 1998 radio staple “Out Of My Head,” climbs to a new peak of number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. That ranks as the Cleveland rapper’s highest-ever charting single and it’s destined to soar a lot higher when the video drops “soon.” What can we expect from the opus? Well, it looks like the unlikely collaborators channel their inner-Bonnie & Clyde as doomed lovers.

That certainly fits in with MGK’s assessment of the song. “There’s something about America’s sweetheart and America’s bad boy,” he told Billboard of the rising smash. “That juxtaposition is what everyone desires. Prior to this it was ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ from [Jay Z] and Beyonce, going back further you have Romeo and Juliet.” In the brief teaser, the pair finds themselves on the wrong side of the law and run up a stairwell to evade police.
