Future Hit: NEIKED & Dyo's "Sexual"
Swedish producer NEIKED has a global smash on his hands with new banger "Sexual."

In many ways, 2016 has been the year of the viral hit. gnash and Olivia O’Brien rode a tidal wave of SoundCloud streams all the way to the top 10 with “I Hate U, I Love U,” while Frenship and Emily Warren crossed over from Spotify playlists to pop radio with hypnotic banger “Capsize.” Australian dance diva Starley is on a similar trajectory with “Call On Me.” The uplifting anthem first appeared online way back in April, but a remix caught fire in October and the song is now charting around the globe.

Ryan Riback’s remix of “Call On Me” recently debuted on the Billboard Hot at number 99 courtesy of massive streaming numbers (it’s been played 34 million+ on Spotify) and is wreaking havoc in markets as diverse as New Zealand, Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy and Norway — not bad for a song that Starley wrote in her bedroom. Expect the viral phenomenon to climb a lot higher when Epic Records (the US licensee) rolls out the inevitable remix video and pushes it at pop radio. Get familiar with the original and hit remix below.
