Watch Chance The Rapper Try To Decorate The Rockefeller Tree In ‘SNL’ Promo
Chance The Rapper is one of the few undeniably Good things about 2016. He is an avatar of uplift, and Coloring Book was one of the year’s most joyous, and best, releases. I mean, the guy sings Frank Ocean in the bathtub! Also, he takes baths! So it’s fitting that he’s closing out the year for SNL — not that this will forgive that show’s role in normalizing the orange kleptocrat, but we’ll take anything that isn’t suffocatingly dreadful at this point.
Now there’s a promo with Chance and host Casey Affleck trying to decorate the tree at Rockefeller Center. It’s not funny, but Casey’s wearing a Chance 3 hat so who cares.
