Katy Perry Posts Snippets Of New Music: Listen
Katy Perry is plotting a comeback, all right.
Throughout this year, particularly after she cut Rio Olympics theme “Rise,” Katy has been recording her fifth album while giving studio updates from Twitter. Last night (December 16), though, Katy actually posted snippets of her new music to Instagram.
“OMG INSTRUMENTS!” she captioned one video, calling attention to the sublime electric guitar. But fans are freaking out most over her cascading vocals — how she has at least some range.
“It’s too soon to define it,” Katy said earlier this year about the album’s sound. “I want to let the music define itself when it comes out.” Meanwhile, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd says that she recorded a song he wrote for her.
