Preview Charli XCX & Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Crazy “Crazy Crazy” Collab

Charli XCX has teamed up with SOPHIE, PC Music and Lil Yachty in recent months, showing she’s more interested in taking risks than doing the standard label-pleasing collaborations. And her latest collab continues that trend, as she hooks up with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, the J-pop star famous for her surreal kawaii videos, on “Crazy Crazy.”

A snippet premiered Monday (December 26), and the short preview has exactly the type of demented music box melodies and saccharine lyrics you’d expect from this sort of partnership. It’s KPP’s first-ever duet and first song in full English, and it was produced by Yasutaka Nakata of Capsule.

The track drops January 18. Hear a tease below.
