Lady Gaga Performs ‘An Intimate Evening’ Concert In Las Vegas: Watch
To close out 2016, Lady Gaga performed not with her guitar as heard throughout Joanne, but at the piano. Last night (December 30) she performed An Intimate Evening with Lady Gaga at Wynn Las Vegas, while backed by jazz musician Brian Newman and his quintet.
Gaga’s setlist included a standout cover of Edith Piaf‘s “La Vie en Rose,” which has become part of Gaga’s live repertoire for the past year. She performed jazz standards like “Bewitched, Bothered, Bewildered,” as heard in her and Tony Bennett‘s joint album Cheek to Cheek. And to further showcase her range, Gaga seamlessly incorporated her own material, like Joanne ballad “Million Reasons” and a stripped-down rendition of 2009’s “Bad Romance.”
