By now, you’ve probably already seen (or at least heard of) Mariah Carey‘s disastrous NYE performance. So it shouldn’t surprise you that the parodies of the botched gig have officially started to flood in as well. First up is Stephen Colbert, who spoofed the mishap on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show. The show host began his opening monologue as per usual, before revealing that he doesn’t see anything on his teleprompter.

“I’m sorry, there’s nothing in my prompter here. Jim, can we fix that?” Colbert said, as a bunch of dancers crowded around him and ruffled feather fans in his face. “I’m sorry, I was not informed. Am I supposed to be singing right now?”

Elsewhere, Carey recently spoke about the appearance with Entertainment Weekly, noting that “Dick Clark would not have let an artist go through that and he would have been as mortified as I was in real time. It’s not going to stop me from doing a live event in the future. But it will make me less trusting of using anyone outside of my own team.”
