Robin Thicke Called Cops To Paula Patton’s House Amid Custody Battle

Robin Thicke  sent cops to Paula Patton‘s home in Calabasas, California, yesterday (January 13) — the latest development in an ugly custody battle.

California police showed up because Paula reportedly refused to release her and Robin’s 6-year-old son Julian, which would allegedly violate the ex-couple’s custody order. In a video obtained by TMZ (below), though, officers state that they cannot act on the matter for one simple reason — Julian refused to leave Paula’s home. Paula also thanks the the cops for showing up.

“All I can say is that basically we had a call to respond for a civil matter,” a police rep said to Us Weekly. “No action was taken on our part, no report was written. It was completely civil.”

Earlier this week, Paula filed an emergency order asking to restrict Robin’s access to Julian to monitored daytime visits only. The reason why: Julian reportedly told his school officials that Robin has spanked him more than once.

“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt,” the “Blurred Lines” star said in court documents, according to Us Weekly. “This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.”
