Lorde’s Album Still Isn’t Done

Lorde‘s new album isn’t quite done — but she’d better hurry, since she’s got performances at Coachella, Governors Ball and Bonnaroo right around the corner. The New Zealand star gave fans a small update on her long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s debut Pure Heroine, writing on Instagram that she’s back in America “finishing this record.”
In November, Lorde said she was listening to her new music on earbuds to better replicate the fan experience, indicating the album was close to being finished. Before that, she explained that it will tackle her journey to adulthood.
