The K-pop superstar takes us higher with her latest video, featuring none other than Method Man.

2NE1 says “Goodbye” in its final music video.

The powerhouse K-pop group — minus Minzy, who left to pursue a solo career in April — revisit happier, behind-the-scenes moments from its past tours and hangout sessions, in between shots that appear straight out of a candlelight vigil. The song itself, an acoustic ballad written by CL, has 2NE1 singing “goodbye” in both Korean and English — a testament to the group’s global appeal.

“This is for all the BLACKJACKz around the world, for all the memories we will never forget, for all the history we have made together, for all the love we have shared,” CL says on Instagram.

2NE1’s disbandment has been controversial. Minzy revealed that she only heard of “Goodbye” via news reports. “This is very unfortunate as I was previously a member of the group 2NE1, but I share the same feelings as the other members in wanting to show appreciation and bid farewell to everyone for all their love and support of 2NE1,” she said earlier this week. Blackjacks, 2NE1’s official fanbase, have been protesting the news to label YG.
