Zara Larsson Switches It Up With Urban-Pop Anthem “So Good”

Zara Larsson can do it all. From power ballads (“Uncover”) to bubblegum-pop (“Lush Life”) and furious floorfillers (“Never Forget You”), the Swedish diva bounces from genre to genre without skipping a beat. “So Good” is a case in point. The 19-year-old dabbles in mid-tempo urban-pop and sounds completely at ease. “You’ll be stuck on it because my love’s so good, so ya keep comin’ back to get some more,” she brags over bouncy beats. “Got you in your feelings so emotional, my love, my love, so good, so good.”

So, is this the song that’s finally going to break Zara in the US? Well, the “Ain’t My Fault” singer gives herself the best possible chance by teaming up with all-star cast of songwriters (Charlie Puth, Jacob Kasher, LunchMoney Lewis and Danny Boy Styles) and squeezing as many hooks as humanly possible into 2:46 minutes. I mean, the track is 90 percent chorus with a couple of mini-verses and a Ty Dolla $ign feature. “So Good” drops tomorrow (January 27) and you’ll be able to stream it below from midnight tonight.
