Niall Horan Talks His Debut LP
Niall Horan says his debut LP was influenced by Fleetwood Mac & The Eagles.

It looks like Niall Horan is working with The Chainsmokers if a cheeky Twitter exchange is any indication. “Yo @NiallOfficial are you a blonde or brunette whats the deal?” the dance duo asked in reference to the 1D singer’s new hairstyle. Niall confirmed he’s a brunette via emoji and the “Paris” hitmakers wound up the banter with: “See you next week buddy.” They might just be planning to knock back a couple of beers at Chateau Marmont, but text messages exist and a collaboration would be a guaranteed hit at this point.

If a song eventuates, my money is on it finding a home on The Chainsmokers’ debut album. After all, Niall has been fairly adamant about his project having a vintage rock vibe. He listed Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash as major influences in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly and described the opus as having a “folk-with-pop feel to it.” The album got off to a promising enough start with “This Town,” which is still climbing the Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at number 20 recently and could go a lot higher if the video ever arrives. See the Twitter exchange below.
