Katy Perry's Bite-Sized Album Rollout
Katy Perry explains how her new album will be rolled out in a new radio interview.

Katy Perry‘s fourth album is slowly coming together. Last night (March 13) she shared another snippet, previewing an eerie vocal track about experiencing déjà vu: “‘Cause every day is the same, definition of insane.” There isn’t much to judge off here, though if anything, she seems to be attacking the same apathy she sings of in the politically charged “Chained to the Rhythm.”

With its despairing take on reggae, “Chained to the Rhythm” isn’t the perky, high-energy pop banger that we’ve come to expect from Katy. But after acting as Hillary Clinton‘s earliest celebrity supporters, Katy has had a change in heart. “I’ve given up on what people think of me,” she said to PEOPLE. “I have a great group of people around me that I listen to and value their opinions.”
