Drake's 'More Life': Stream
The "playlist" has 22 original tracks featuring Kanye West, 2 Chainz and, yes, Jennifer Lopez.

Drake‘s More Life doesn’t feature a collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, at least as she described in interviews. But from the start, the Toronto rap king makes clear that he can’t get her off his mind.

In opening track “Free Smoke,” Drake runs through a list of setbacks that includes JLo ghosting on him. “Mireval to the face, though / I drunk text JLo,” he raps. “Old number, so it bounce back / Boi-1da got the bounce back.”

Jennifer does have a credit in More Life: Her 1999 debut single “If You Had My Love” is sampled on Drake’s “Teenage Fever.” But this wasn’t the full-fledged collaboration that JLo previously mentioned. “He sent me a song that he wanted me to be on, and then I got on the song,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, a month after she and Drake danced at a prom-themed party to what sounded like them singing together.

That dance track, pulsing beat and all, did make the cut. But JLo was replaced by rising U.K. soul singer Jorja Smith.

Neither Drake nor Jennifer have elaborated on the dating rumors they sparked, with Drake catching JLo’s All I Have Las Vegas residency and that photo of them cuddling with each other. According to tabloids, though, JLo is now seeing retired Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
