Jennifer Lopez Hits The Studio With Skrillex: New Music Soon?
Jennifer Lopez signed a multi-album deal with Epic Records a year ago, but we’re still waiting for new music. I guess that’s not entirely fair. The ultimate triple-threat has blessed us with “Ain’t Your Mama,” a charity single and a random duet with ex-husband Marc Anthony, but the diva’s 9th LP is still shrouded in mystery. That could change soon. She filmed a cute video in the studio with Skrillex and Poo Bear this morning (March 31), and the song playing in the background sounds like a banger.
It’s going to be interesting to see which direction the album takes. At one point, J.Lo was rumored to be recording a Spanish-language LP, but the latest snippet is in English. (Maybe it’s a bilingual opus?) I’m also interested to see if half-leaked club anthem “Breaking Me Down” makes the cut and if anything came of the flawless 47-year-old’s sessions with Captain Cuts.
