Pitbull's 'Fate Of The Furious' collab could have sounded very different.

No, you’re not experiencing deja vu. Chances are, you’ve already seen J Balvin, Pitbull and Camila Cabello’s “Hey Ma” video — only in Spanish. The English version arrives tonight and it looks exactly the same. At least, as far as I can tell. The trio party on the streets of Miami, while a scene from The Fate Of The Furious plays out around them. It’s colorful and exotic. The original song has already racked up 75 million streams and hopes are high for this version. It’s being sent to pop and rhythmic radio next week.

Of course, the song could have sounded very different. Pitbull recently revealed that “Hey Ma” originally featured Romeo Santos and Britney Spears. “You never know, there might be a remix with Romeo and Britney in the future,” Mr. Worldwide told Radio.com. “She was a great sport, she’s been in the business for years. She said, ‘Don’t even worry about that. We’ll use it for the remix, or we’ll do another record together.'” Watch the non-Britney version up top and the Spanish-language original below.
