It looks like we’re in for a bumper New Music Friday with Noah Cyrus’ “Stay Together” and DNCE’s first release of 2017. The rock/dance band teams up with Nicki Minaj for a new single called “Kissing Strangers” (due April 14). I’m assuming it’s the lead single from their sophomore LP, but it could also be for a re-release or deluxe edition of their self-titled debut. (After all, it only dropped in November). The “Cake By The Ocean” hitmakers announced the collaboration by posting a studio pic and a very brief preview.

This is a good look for DNCE, but Nicki is in danger of being overexposed at this point — and she hasn’t even announced her 4th LP yet. In the past month, she has dropped three singles of her own (“No Frauds,” “Changed It” and “Regret In Your Tears”) as well as a duet with Gucci Mane and features on David Guetta’s “Light My Body Up,” Jason Derulo’s “Swalla” and Major Lazer’s “Run Up.” It’s a lot, particularly when you consider that “Side To Side” is still all over the radio.
