Collaboration? Sam Smith Hits The Studio With Timbaland
Well, this is interesting. Sam Smith hit the studio with Timbaland over the weekend to make some “#timeless #music.” While, the session could be for the Brit’s sophomore LP (due in September), it’s more likely for the legendary producer’s long-overdue 4th LP. When I caught up the hitmaker last month, he revealed that it will have the same format at Shock Value I & II, namely it’s bursting with massive features. “Yeah, but it’s going to be a lot of new faces,” Tim said. “It’ll be a lot of different artists.”
Why the decade-long wait between albums? “Because you have to live life,” the man behind classic hits like “SexyBack” and “Promiscuous” continued. “You have to prep yourself. You’ve got to prep for right moment and for the right time. Timing is everything. You can’t just put out, just to be putting out. I’ve never been wanting to put out. My goals are my goals. So, this time, when I leave I probably won’t stop. I’ll probably keep going for three years straight… just nonstop.” See Timbaland’s pic with Sam below.
