BTS Brings 'The Wings Tour' To LA: Review
BTS is the hottest act in K-Pop. We review their dazzling 'Wings Tour.'

“Dream In A Dream” is one of the most interesting K-Pop songs of the year. It’s a largely instrumental piece, with about three lines (all in English) from TEN, a Thai dancer from an ambitious new boy-band project called NCT with unlimited members and multiple sub-groups. Abandoning traditional song structure, “Dream In A Dream” is more like a big, beautiful soundscape of oriental sounds, waves of synths, and ethereal echoes. It exists in its own world between pop and indie, like if ZAYN suddenly decided to record a dream-pop album with Beach House.

The music video (above) is a spectacular performance piece, filled with elegant choreography and vivid colors. Sometimes contemporary dance pieces can look tacky (have you ever seen Dance Moms?), but TEN has made this nothing short of a work of art. You can pick up “Dream In A Dream” (along with the rest of NCT’s growing discography) on Spotify and Apple Music now.
