Foster The People's "Best Friend" Video
Supermodels get devoured in Foster The People's creepy "Best Friend" video.

Foster The People was arguably the break-out act of 2011, landing the Song Of The Summer with the still-brilliant “Pumped Up Kicks” and a top 10, platinum-selling debut LP. (“Helena Beat” was my jam). Unfortunately, they experiencing something of a sophomore slump with 2014’s underrated Supermodel. Mark Foster & Co. shake that off with a trio of excellent new tracks. They’re all well worth a listen, but lead single “Doing It For The Money” stands out as an explosion of blurry synths tied together by an instantly hummable chorus.

“One of my favorite things about music is that it’s unifying,” says the band’s frontman. “We wrote these songs to reflect joy in a time where people have needed it more than ever and we thought it was a good time to share them with you.” Foster The People will support their new music and upcoming third LP with a string of headline dates that kick off in San Diego, CA on May 25. (You can see all the dates and buy tickets here). Check out “Doing It For The Money,” “Pay The Man” and “S.H.C.” below.
