CupcakKe Adds A Lot Of Spice To K.I.D’s “Boy”
With glowing reviews for new LP Queen Elizabitch and a sexy collaboration on Charli XCX’s Number 1 Angel mixtape, CupcakKe’s star continues to rise. Her latest coup is a NSFW verse on the remix of K.I.D’s winsome alt-pop anthem, “Boy.” The duo describes the song as a “suburban love anthem about blue balls,” but the Chicago rapper isn’t about that life. “Don’t tell me nah pull down your draws don’t take no calls,” she spits. “Pussy what you saw you can have it all and hit it raw. I don’t call it moving fast, now come fuck me in the ass.”
And it just gets more explicit from there. If nothing else, the rap queen is always on-brand! The verse also makes sense within the context of the song, delivering a different, bolder perspective to K.I.D’s (comparatively) coy approach to seduction. “Boy” was produced by Mike Crossey and features on their new EP, Poster Child. Given CupcakKe’s rising popularity, the remix is destined to get a lot of attention. Listen below.
