Saoirse Ronan Stars In Ed Sheeran’s “Galway Girl” Video

Ed Sheeran is currently promoting “Castle On The Hill” as the second cut from his unstoppable Divide LP in the US, but he’s already moved on to the third single in the rest of the world. The chart-conquering ginger is going with “Galway Girl,” which is my favorite song from the album, and it’s already a top 5 hit in most countries including Australia and the UK. Expect the cute ditty to climb even higher with the arrival of a refreshingly low-key video, which stars Irish actress Saorise Ronan.

The clip, which is filmed from the pop star’s perspective (a camera was literally strapped to his waist), finds him running amok in Ireland after a gig. He catches up with his good friend Saorise in a pub and shenanigans ensure. They knock back a few drinks, play darts and then hit the streets. The troublemakers interrupt a group of dancers, support a busker and get a little ink. From there, it’s back to the pub for a little dancing. Watch the extremely watchable visual up top.

Video for Galway Girl dropping tomorrow, look out for it x
