Selena Gomez Has New Music Is Coming
Her revival continues! Selena Gomez confirms that she has new music on the way.

This is a major win for Selena Gomez. 13 Reasons Why, the Netflix series that she co-produces, has been renewed for a second season. Today (May 7) Selena premiered the trailer (below), captioned, “Their story isn’t over.”

13 Reasons Why has become the most tweeted-about show of 2017, though not without sparking controversy. Based on Jay Asher‘s 2007 best-selling novel, the series tells the story of a Liberty High School student, Hannah (Katherine Langford), who has committed suicide and left behind cassettes that explain why she ended her life. Psychologists have condemned the show, saying “teenage suicide is contagious.” But Selena has been level-headed about the matter, telling Associated Press the backlash ” was going to come no matter what. It’s not an easy subject to talk about.”

Season 2, out in 2018, will “pick up in the aftermath of Hannah’s death and the start of the characters’ complicated journeys toward healing and recovery,” according to Variety. See the trailer below.
