Miley Cyrus returns with the cute, but clumsy "Malibu." Watch the dreamy video.

Miley Cyrus is promoting the hell out of “Malibu.” She announced the project with a Billboard cover story, performed the song as a special guest at Wango Tango, spammed social media with updates and has been touring radio stations all week. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The 24-year-old has upcoming performances lined up at the Billboard Music Awards, iHeartSummer ’17 Weekend and The Today Show’s Citi Concert Series. Today’s promo highlight? Belting out a pretty, acoustic version of “Malibu” on Elvis Duran And The Morning Show.

The pop star, who shocked fans by dissing “Wrecking Ball” and “Best Of Both Worlds” in another interview this morning, delivered a confident rendition of the love song. Her vocals were in fine form and the track somehow sounds more authentic in its stripped-back form. This version is also probably more reflective of her upcoming LP, which is said to be folk-orientated. “Malibu” debuts at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week after just one day of release. Expect it to crack the top 10 next week.
