Lana Del Rey unveils the lovely cover of 4th LP, 'Lust For Life.'

It seems Lana Del Rey is in a sharing mood this week. After uploading a video on Instagram rehearsing an unreleased song yesterday, she’s back at it again today (May 19). This time, it’s a preview of her soon-to-be-released music video for “Lust for Life” featuring The Weeknd. And while she didn’t specify a date, we get a glimpse of the overall look.

“Lust For Life” is a duet with Abel, where they beautifully weave their harmonies into dream-pop bliss. It’s the title track of Lana’s much-awaited upcoming fourth LP by the same name and follows the mood and concept set by the first single, “Love.” The teaser video itself is simple. After zooming out of the different shades of blues and greens in the singer’s iris, LDR appears donning a matching red cardigan and headband, smirking coquettishly at the camera as she sits behind a microphone.

The scratches on the film, outfit, and song set the music video right with the album: the ‘50s and ‘60s. It really does seem like we’re watching an old movie reel. But we knew that already. The queen of being aloof simply captioned the video, “If it ain’t xo then it gotta go @theweeknd.” Does this mean he’ll be on the music video? We sure hope so. As previously mentioned, the “Lust for Life” video has no release date yet, so this preview will have to suffice for now. Watch it below.
