Hailee Steinfeld Drops "Most Girls"
Her latest single is a fiesty and empowering anthem in the vein of "Run the World (Girls)."

In case there was any doubt, girl power is alive and well, thanks to singer/actress Hailee Steinfeld. The 20-year-old just released the video for her summer single “Most Girls,” and she’s serving up a fitting and fierce visual tribute to her female empowerment anthem.

In the beginning of the clip, Hailee rebuffs a guy who tells her she’s “not like most girls.” She then goes on to channel many different girls, from a red-lipped red carpet glamazon to a tough-as-nails braided boxer, emphasizing that girls can be whoever they want to be. At the end, she’s joined by a slew of ladies wearing labels on their t-shirts, from “gritty” to “fearless,” “focused” to “feisty.” It’s fun and poppy but with a seriously inspiring message, and I’m all for her celebrating her fellow females.

The upbeat track is the first single from her forthcoming debut LP. Hailee will be performing the song for the first time on tonight’s season finale of Dancing with the Stars. Check out the video up top.

That's right. 💕👑 #MOSTGIRLS
