Rihanna Is Releasing New Music Soon
Surprise! According to a Radio 1 DJ, Rihanna has a new single on the way.

Exactly a decade ago today (June 1), Rihanna released her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad, and jumpstarted her career with massive hits like “Umbrella,” “Don’t Stop The Music,” “Hate That I Love You” and “Shut Up and Drive.” The Barbadian beauty marked the occasion by looking back at the release and exaplining how it changed her musical trajectory.

“10 years ago I released a body of work that would change the course of my life and career in ways that I still can’t fully grasp!” RiRi wrote on Instagram, alongside the album’s sleek cover art. “To my fans…you have truly supported and nurtured my journey and I’m forever grateful to you for making it such a wild ride so far and I look forward to our journey ahead. once a good girl go bad, she gone forever! #GoodGirlGoneBad #10thanniversary.”

With Good Girl Gone Bad, the hitmaker did away with her innocent, ingénue image and began to adopt that bad gal fierceness we all know and love. This included cutting her long tresses in favor of a bob that quickly became iconic. Here’s to ten more years!
