Demi Lovato Hits The Studio With French Montana

Demi Lovato revealed that she is working on an R&B album in a recent interview with Billboard. “I’m releasing an album later this year, so my fans can look forward to that,” she said. “It’s more soulful and I want to go more R&B with it.” It looks like the project might have a splash of hip-hop as well. The diva, who is currently enjoying a hit as the featured vocalist on Cheat Codes’ “No Promises,” recently hit the studio with French Montana. She ended up on the rapper’s Snapchat, where you can see her strumming a guitar during a session.

It will be interesting to see what comes of the collaboration, but the pop star has experimented with hip-hop before on Confident bangers like “Kingdom Come” and “Waitin For You.” She also dabbled in R&B on Amy Winehouse-inspired bonus track “Mr. Hughes.” Apart from the “Unforgettable” rapper, Demi has also been in the studio with legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
