Lana & The Weeknd's "Lust For Life" Video
Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd's epic "Lust for Life" video is the stuff of dreams.

As expected, The Weeknd is rolling out “Secrets” as the fourth single from Starboy. (I thought “Party Monster” was just a buzz track, but I guess not). And it makes sense. The jittery synth-pop anthem is fan favorite with immense pop appeal courtesy of a killer sample of Tears For Fears’ “Pale Shelter.” Think of it as a less druggy “Can’t Feel My Face.” The Canadian superstar was spotted filming the video at the University of Toronto way back in February and the clip finally arrives today (June 12).

Directed by Pedro Martin Calero‎, the jarring visual was worth the wait. The eerie clip begins with a woman floating down from the ceiling, while Abel slowly descends in an elevator. It is beautifully filmed with extreme attention paid to styling, photography and pacing. The result is hypnotic and oddly Kubrickian. Just when you think it might be a case of style over substance, there’s a striking twist. Starboy has already delivered two top 10 hits. Don’t be surprised if “Secrets” becomes the third. Watch up top.

Phase 1 = Over
