Charlie Puth’s “Attention” Gets An Oliver Heldens Remix
Charlie Puth’s “Attention” is the dark horse in this year’s race for Song Of The Summer glory. The bass-heavy banger didn’t make a huge splash when it arrived in April, but it has been steadily gaining momentum ever since. Currently perched at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track is destined to soar a lot higher in the coming weeks given surging digital sales and radio airplay. When you factor in its incredible popularity on Spotify (183 million streams and counting) and the success of the video (177 million views), it could well go number one.
The arrival of a new remix by Oliver Heldens will only help its cause. The Dutch DJ, who recently remixed Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm” and landed an international hit a couple of years ago with “Gecko,” focuses on the track’s throbbing bass-line. He transforms “Attention” into a full-blown disco moment, which makes it a no-brainer for any summer party playlist. Listen to the remix below.
