Selena Gomez's Wacky 'Bad Liar' Video
Selena Gomez plays multiple roles in her delightfully offbeat 'Bad Liar' video.

Selena Gomez’s new single is every bit as sexy as the title suggests. “Fetish” arrived early tonight (July 12) and it ranks as the pop star’s most scandalous offering yet. It’s also her most adventurous, picking up where “Bad Liar” left off as an eccentric alt-pop anthem. “Something about me, got you hooked on my body,” she declares in a spitfire verse. “Take you over and under and twisted up like origami.” The track really comes alive, however, when the instantly addictive chorus hits.

“You got a fetish for my love, I push you out and you come right back,” Selena coos over eerie synths. “Don’t see a point in blaming you, if I were you I’d do me too.” By the end of the song, the 24-year-old’s transformation into pop’s most experimental princess is all but complete. My only complaint is Gucci Mane’s verse, which feels like an afterthought (or a marketing ploy). But that doesn’t detract from the joy of hearing Selena come into her own as an artist, confidently dabbling in sub-genres usually reserved for the alt crowd. Listen below.
