Selena Gomez's Quirky 'Fetish'
Selena Gomez's new single is every bit as sexy as the title suggests.

While Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar” turned out to be a sleeper hit, “Fetish” is shaping up to be a surefire smash. The sexy anthem took less than 12 hours to reach number one on iTunes in the US and achieved the same feat in 40+ other countries. That’s a major achievement when you consider that only three other women have reached the summit in 2017. (In case you’re curious, the other iTunes chart-toppers are Miley Cyrus’ “Malibu,” Lady Gaga’s “The Cure” and and Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds.”)

Of course, those songs are evidence that an iTunes number one doesn’t always translate to similar success on the Billboard Hot 100. I have a feeling Selena might have more luck, though. “Fetish” will appeal to radio programmers across multiple formats and streaming numbers are already astronomical. The song’s audio video, for example, already has seven million views. When you throw in a conversation-starting visual, Selena’s chart prospects are looking very bright. Check out the sexy bop below.
