It’s hard to know what you’re going to get from a song called “Ko Ko Bop”: an island-flavored summer jam, or a bad Baha Men single? Luckily, Korean boy band EXO are closer to the former on their new single, which is every bit as addictive as you’d expect from the title. Engineered by a vast team of hitmakers, including Australia’s Styalz Fuego, “Ko Ko Bop” serves warm reggae rhythms with a helping of Diplo-inspired EDM and hip-hop to boot.

The tropical track is lifted from the band’s fourth studio album, The War. The disc has already broken a sales record in Korea as the most pre-ordered K-Pop album of all time with 800,000 copies, and it’s not hard to see why. In addition to Fuego, who was named the 2012 ARIA Producer of the Year, The War also features contributions from English DJ Michael Woods, LDN Noise, and Harvey Mason Jr. Check out “Ko Ko Bop” above.
