Made In Heights Drop 'Forgiveness'
Made In Heights drop another perfect synth-pop anthem called 'Forgiveness.'

LA-based synth-pop duo Made In Heights came perilously close to a commercial breakthrough with 2015 LP, Without My Enemy What Would I Do. Featuring viral hits “Ghosts,” “Panther” and “Forgiveness,” the album seemed like a stepping stone to much bigger things. It came as something of a surprise, then, to learn that Kelsey Bulkin and Sabzi had parted ways. Happily, the flame-haired singer is embarking on a solo career with a silky smooth electro-oddity called “Andromeda.”

“[The song] is about sifting through emotional debris, abandoning worlds I built, and finding my way home,” Kelsey tells Milk.xyz of the mercurial track, which twists and turns over a flickery beat. “Writing this song cemented the idea of producing a solo project, a dream I’ve had for a long time.” She’s off to an impressive start. “Andromeda” is weird and wonderful, but still resonates emotionally due to the potency of Kelsey’s voice. Need more? The (former) Made In Heights vocalist has feature on ODESZA’s upcoming album. Listen to her solo debut below.
