Kristian Galva delivers one of the best debut singles of the year with “Wrong For This.” Co-written with hitmaker Jacob Kasher (Charlie Puth’s “Attention” and Jason Derulo’s “Swalla”), the slick hip-hop/pop hybrid is a veritable guide to cheating. “I know I’m wrong for this but I can’t help it, girl I love that every time we kiss that it’s so dangerous,” the 18-year-old croons on the chorus. “My friends keep telling me to stay out your relationship.” However, he doesn’t take their advice.

“Girl, I know you was taken and you wasn’t looking for nobody new,” Kristian admits in a spitfire verse, “But I couldn’t help it, I had to pull up and start fucking with you.” Not that it’s a one-sided thing, either. “Maybe I’m going to hell, but girl we both know I won’t be by myself,” he fires off later in the song. While the content is very modern, there’s an old-school R&B sheen to this. In fact, the track wouldn’t sound out of place on one of Usher’s early albums. Check out the killer bop below.
