Kesha Announces The 'Rainbow Tour'
Kesha is supporting her comeback album, Rainbow, with a North American tour.

Kesha is ramping up the promo as the clock ticks closer to the arrival of her third LP Rainbow on August 11. Today (August 2), she gave fans a taste of several songs from the album during a live streamed mini-concert that was broadcast on YouTube. Despite claims that the setlist would include unreleased music from the forthcoming release, the “Learn to Let Go” diva instead performed the first two singles as well as renditions of her breakout hit “Tik Tok” and empowerment anthem “We R Who We R” for a small group of fans. The intimate setting lent a sense of power to the event, and her voice resonated with triumph as she sang of overcoming obstacles on lead single, “Praying.” Fans in the audience emotionally responded to her evocative delivery, and they applauded loudly throughout the track’s debut performance.

“Woman”, the second single from Rainbow was performed as well, and the rocking anthem was supported by a live band that lifted the energy up while Kesha belted out the powerful lyrics. After battling tears during her first performance of the song, she channelled its energy and was the epitome of strength while listing the many wonderful qualities of women. The link to the stream was pulled immediately after the set finished, but it was definitely a promising show ahead of her upcoming Rainbow Tour.

Although she did not perform any new music, it seems safe to assume that at least one more tack will surface ahead of the LP’s official release next Friday. Kesha has kept fans on their toes with a string of promotional singles, and each one has been supported by a music video that provides a deeper glimpse into the project’s creative direction. From the spiritually influenced “Praying” to the self-reflective “Learn to Let Go” video, it is clear that each release is helping her heal and find herself in the music. Check out some footage from her latest performance below.
