Paris Hilton’s Sophomore Album Is Almost Finished

Paris Hilton will release the follow-up to 2006’s seminal Paris later this year. “I’m doing a new TV show that I’m really excited about, as well as my real estate projects around the world,” the thinking man’s club queen updated fans on Twitter. “I’m also getting ready to release my 24th fragrance and finishing my new album.” That sound you hear is Adele shaking. The heiress will kick off the project with a new single called “Summer Reign,” which she teased in July.

“When it feels this good I come alive, when it feels this good I get so wild,” the “Stars Are Blind” diva coos over a cascade of synths. “When it feels this good, welcome to my summer reign.” EDM’s most relevant DJ has been chipping away at her sophomore LP since at least 2013 when she dropped “Good Time.” Paris followed that up with another bop called “Come Alive” in 2014 and then rebranded with the grittier “High Off My Love” in 2015.
