Halsey's 'Now Or Never' Video
There is a lot going on in Halsey's directorial debut and first video of her sophomore era.

Halsey is officially a Playboy bunny. The pop star strikes a pose for the magazine’s music issue, rocking pink hair and a largely transparent pink tank. (See the cover and a pic from the shoot below). She also sits down for 20 questions, covering topics as diverse as her biracial background and planned parenthood. The “Now Or Never” singer also opens up about her swift rise to fame. “I got successful so quickly,” she boasts. “I blinked, and a couple months later I was performing on national television. There was zero time to get adjusted.”

The 22-year-old also reveals that she gets irked when people only know her from “Closer” (i.e. most of the world). “I mean no disrespect to the guys — it was really hard for me and my fans,” Halsey complains. “People were like, ‘Oh, the ‘backseat of your Rover’ girl.’ My fans were like, ‘No, the girl I’ve loved for three years and sings about mental health and self-love.’ Also, I write every song. I have co-writing credits, but most of the time it’s a co-write from a melodic perspective. Make no mistake: The poetry is mine.”

“I executive-produced this album and direct my videos, so to go from that to ‘Rover girl,’ no.” Get a taste of the shoot below. Read the full interview here.
