Astrid S Delivers A Gorgeous Live Performance Of “Think Before I Talk”
Astrid S is the real MVP when it comes to pop music in 2017. After dropping a string of sublime electro-pop anthems (“Breathe,” “Just For One Night” and “Such A Boy”), the Norwegian diva switches it up on “Think Before I Talk.” Penned by Andrew Cedar, the rising star’s latest is a semi-acoustic (and very relatable) anthem about running your mouth and then regretting it. “I hope that a lot of people can relate to this song,” she says, “and that next time you are about to say something in the heat of an argument, you remember to think before you say something hurtful.”
The 20-year-old performed the song recently on Norwegian TV and showcased her crystalline vocals with a sophisticated, stripped-back arrangement. (Watch up top). Astrid sounded gorgeous, connected with the viewer and proved that she doesn’t need the icy electronica to deliver an anthem.
