Shakira Is A Golden Goddess In Her Sexy “Perro Fiel” Video

Shakira’s new video is going to get a lot of eyeballs. “Chantaje,” the lead single from El Dorado, racked up 1.7 billion views on YouTube. That astronomical figure might have been inflated by the presence of Maluma, but “Deja Vu” was watched more than 250 millions times. Meanwhile “Me Enamore” (below) has already passed 325 million views. The only other female artists putting up those kind of numbers are Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. That puts a certain amount of pressure on the Colombian goddess, but she comes through — as usual — on “Perro Fiel.”

A sizzling reggaeton collaboration with Nicky Jam, the fourth single from El Dorado demanded a sexy video and Shakira’s honest hips answered the call. The flawless 40-year-old rocks gold body paint in the Jaume de la Iguana-directed clip, showing off her signature dance moves. Those scenes are intercut with a fierce fashion moment featuring canines (hopefully a nod to 2009’s classic “She Wolf”) and joint scenes with her collaborator.
