James Arthur Interview
We speak to James Arthur about 'Say You Won't Let Go' and his sophomore LP.

James Arthur joined forces with Rudimental for UK summer smash “Sun Comes Up.” The breezy drum-and-bass anthem is now getting a push in the US, which means a string of TV performances. The collaborators did the double yesterday (September 19) — appearing on The Today Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The latter was the better of the two. It had a felt like a celebration with the sprawling band exuding good vibes, while the Brit delivered a soulful performance. He even smiled a bit.

The 29-year-old is coming off a career-reviving hit with “Say You Won’t Let Go.” James bounced back from an avalanche of bad press and a stint in rehab to top the charts around the world. He came close to repeating that feat in the US — peaking at number 11 and selling double platinum. While “Sun Comes Up” is merely a side-project, it will be interesting to see what the hitmaker does next. Before we get new music, however, James is dropping an autobiography/self-help book called Back To The Boy (due October 5). Watch him in action up top.
